Coinbase puts out press releases saying they want to grow and attract large clients and Wall Street, yet their customer service is possible one of the worst I have ever had the displeasure using. I personally had an issue with them, they made me a “10” priority on their scale of 1-10. It has been 45 days and I call in every few days and have gotten no where. I decided to list some of the complaints against them below.
Worst customer service with barely any English skills. Took forever to set up account. Once the account was set up I funded it which my bank had trouble with there procedures. One purchase of etherium went fine. The second purchase 1 week later they said they would hold for 48 hours to check it for security reasons. I called and emailed with no help. I was on the phone for 3 hours and they couldn’t help me even though I did everything that asked for 3 hours. I canceled the order and bought bitcoin ( I’m converting to XRP anyways) there was a big move in the prices and I missed 1500
USD due to there incompetence. My friend set up a count and had trouble finding it he asked me to help this time all customer service reps sounded like they were from India and we could not understand them. We went through 3 people 1 regular 2 supervisors and the language barrier was too much. My buddy is going to try again today. Customer service called me today because they new I was trying to put another 20 grand in my account but didn’t. Funny how they don’t answer the phone when you call when they do it’s a foreigner who barely speaks but they know they want your money!
Liars, understaffed and apathetic. CEO
on down, this organization should be shut down by the authorities. If you put your money w them, GOOD LUCK getting them to give it back…speaking to them is like speaking to a brick wall.

I alerted these clowns that someone had tried to change my password. THEY LOCKED MY ACCOUNT:
30 DAYS and counting…THERE IS NOTHING IN THE USER AGREEMENT THAT PROVIDES THEM WITH
I have called the help line and they’re USELESS.
I have emailed the CEO directly, he’s both USELESS and DOESN’T CARE!
They are holding MY MONEY hostage. AVOID-AVOID-AVOID-AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!
My money has been stuck in my vault for almost 2 months. I have 2 tickets opened, as the first representative put no detail in the ticket, even though they were provided with thorough information about the issue. Additionally, the 2nd representative I spoke with confirmed the issue was coming from Coinbase’s side – not mine. I have since filed a CFPB complaint (on 2/5), and other than a generic response from the company – nothing. I am ready to file a lawsuit, as this has caused me several thousands of dollars in losses. PLEASE DO NOT USE COINBASE!
